ReplyDeleteBased upon my understanding this means that with harder work there is more luck.The harder the work, the more the luck.This matters because it is telling us to stop complaining when we get something hard in life. There is always a reason to why you have hard times or hard work.I can apply this to my life by not complaining any more and always know there is a why to everything.
Based upon my understanding, this means luck comes to those who work hard in life. It means that working hard will bring good things in life. Jefferson believe in luck. He thought that by working hard he would have more of it. This matters because the quote says that by working hard good thing will happen. It also means that in order to have luck you have to work hard for it. I can apply it to my life by believing in Jefferson's idea of luck. I can also work hard knowing good things will happen to me. It is important because Thomas Jefferson believe in working hard to gain luck and he was able to accomplish many things.

ReplyDeleteBased on my understanding this means that if you believe in yourself and you work hard you will accomplish whatever you're working on. The more you believe and work hard the more you'll accomplish what you want.
Whatever I do or want to accomplish,I really believe in myself and work hard because it's what I want so I will work for it to get more of it.I can apply this to my life by working hard for what I want. Usually I don’t work hard or believe in myself when I’m working on something, I let it be or let it come to me. But now I know that if I don’t ever work hard in life I won’t get what I truly want which is being successful ,many people including my brothers don’t believe in me which makes me not believe in myself. Now I know that I shouldn't care if they believe in me or not because I'm not here to impress them to anyone I'm here to impress myself to make a living for myself because that is going to be my future not theirs. For example, I’m a believer in luck the more I work hard for my goal , each step im closer. In the long run, we shape our lives, and we shape ourselves. the process never ends until we die. And the choices we make are ultimately our own responsibility.
‘’this process never ends until we die.’’ It means no matter where life take us we will always face daily routine of life and continue to face problems.
this quote is telling us how life runs ands to be able to defeat anything that comes our way.
Based on my understanding this is telling us that issues and problems can never end in our li8fe as long as we are breathing and we should be ready to face them until we die.
It matters to me because, i face problems, i might be a little girl but am facing problems too and i know that is the way of life. sometimes it’s happiness and sometimes sadness, but we continue to move on and be ready to face anything that comes our way, because it’s life and it will not end until we take our last breath.

1. This means never give up when you're trying to accomplish something. Also means that never stop trying to achieve your goal.
2. Never give up on something you're trying to achieve on. And never stop trying until you accomplish your goal and never give up.
3. I can apply this to my life by never stop trying on the thing i'm trying to achieve. And by making sure I do those things more than i'm supposed to do. Also to focus more on my goal than thinking of failing it. And to be more sure you can do it then to not do your goal.

In my own words, If believe in work then I can achieve it and get anything by doing it. Also if really do it as well.
This matters because you can get stuff done easy if you try at your best. I can apply this by not complaining and by working hard to get to college.

based upon my understandings i think this means that the harder you work the higher chance you have of accomplishing something. and if you work hard you get what you want.
in summary, this quote is saying their is no such thing as luck. it's all about how hard you work or how bad you want it.
this quote matters because it's telling the people that you can't always rely on luck or in a miracle. you have to work hard to get what you want. i can apply this to my life now because now i know that the only way to get something is to work hard for it. or else most likely you won't get it.

My goals are to graduate high school, and college. My short term goals, are to just do the best I can. I want to have good grades, excellent behavior, not to talk back anymore, and especially do the best I can and not give up no matter what how hard the time is to me. My lifetime goals is to never give up on a dream I have. I would want to be a doctor. My aunt was a teacher, and how she’s my family’s doctor, but in my actual house, my sister is our doctor who knows the same thing as my aunt. My sister is also a middle school teacher at Lennox Middle School.

2. In my opinion, i think this quote means that you should never give up your goal even though you failed it once and try again and again, as hard as you can to achieve what you wanted.
3. This is matter because there are many people that didn’t try hard enough when achieving their goal or things that they want, they also give up when they fail for the first time. They never know that the harder you try the more luck will come to helps you achieving your goal. I can apply this to my life to make it better by trying as hard as i can for things that i want to achieve and help others to achieve their goals as well.
