ReplyDeleteBased upon my understanding this quote means that once you do something you can’t take it back. you have to live with the pain and regret. The video was talking about how there are so many prisoners and they won’t stop increasing.People don’t understand and they never will. They might complain about how they never can get a job but it is because there record of prison.I can apply this to my life to make it better by making the right choices.I need to learn how to think before i speak or do anything. i can't take action if i am angry because i will say the wrong things or maybe even do the wrong thing. I need to think befor anything to make my life better.
Based upon my understanding this means that you shouldn't do thing you know are wrong and will regret. You will regret the wrong decisions you've made once you are made to pay for them. The video is about mass incarceration and how it has grown. The video also explains how people who are out of jail have a hard time finding jobs.
ReplyDeleteThis matters because it explained to us because the quote tells us that it's not fun being in jail. I think jail gives you time to reflect what you've done. The quote also tells us how some people dont see whats wrong until they face the consequences. The video gives us lots of information of how incarceration has grown. It also matters because it tells us how hard people who had been in jail have it.
I can apply the quote to my life by knowing when something is wrong before i make a mistake. Also by having good judgement on what's right and wrong. I can apply the video to my life by knowing that if i go to jail life becomes harder for me. Also by knowing that many people go to jail and i should stay away from that type of problems.

ReplyDeleteThis quote means that it is bad to go to prison. It also means if you go to prison, you will be homeless.
In the U.S, it is messed up because it has the most incarnated prisoners. Also, Many people of 25% in the U.S, has a lot of criminals and prisoners meaning that's bad.
I can't apply this to myself because if I go to prison then it will be hard to find a job or career. Also, I will be a criminal if I go to prison as well as do something bad.

I the quote is about how he felt doing an illegal stuff and he cried thinking about how is life is going to be when he get out of prison.
well i agree with the video because putting people in jail for doing bad stuff is a great punishment and i disagree of putting young children in jail at the age of 13 and 14 for life.
well it matters to me because am a girl like them what will my feature be being locked in jail for life what if i have an opportunity and i come out will i ever have a job, so i think putting children in jail for a lifetime is not a good punishment.

ReplyDeleteBased on my understanding, this quote means that whatever you do you have to pay the consequences for. At first what you’re doing doesn’t seem bad, but when you get caught you will see what wrong you have done and regret it.in my opinion,this reminds me of my brother, he went to prison a couple of times but the last time they let him out he fixed his ways. My brother showed me that even though you have a bad record, you could get a job if you tried hard to find one. Prison is where some people see their mistakes and come out as a new improved person. Those people who came out of prison as new people,including my brother.The video informed of topics i didn’t know about. In my opinion. I believe some prisons are doing a good job on correcting the prisoners. I dislike the video because I never knew they punished the prisoners, but at the same time i like the video because it was informing me of true facts.

ReplyDelete3. Based upon my understanding, the quote means that if you make a wrong decision or judgement, you might end up to be in a place or a situation that you don’t want to. And after you understand the problem, it’s too late to redo it and live a better life.
4. In my opinion, i think the video is true. Because after you came out of prison, it will be hard to find a job that you can make a living. Because everyone will think that you is a bad person so they don’t except you and everyone will leave you, even your family and friends.
5. This matter because many people did wrong things and get into prison or some situation that they did not like or wanted. And after that they lived a poor life with no family or friends to helps them get to it, because everyone will be scared and worry for themselves to help a person that just came out from prison. I can apply the message to my life to make it better by choose a right decision and make a right judgement and don’t ever make you or others get into prison because it will affect others and your life a lot and once it happen, you will never get a chance to change it back.

3. Based upon my understanding i think this quote means that he regrets what he did. And that he didn't know that it was a bad thing.
4. In summary, michael vick is saying that he doesn't know that what he did to the animals was wrong. also, that he cried many nights when he was in prison.

1. This quote means he regrets what he did to cause prison. Also how he made the wrong decision to make his life worse.
2. The video was about what happens if you get in prison. Once you get out you will be homeless or suicidal.
3. I can apply this to my life by not making a wrong decision to get to prison. Also by making sure this doesnt happen to me. I can make sure I choose the right decisions for my life. I will also put this in my life by not doing anything illegal.

ReplyDeleteI think he feels guilty about what he did to animals and how he treat them.He couldn’t sleep because he knew the that animals he put out there for him to be able to get some money are always going to remember what he did to them.The video shows me a lot of things like theirs so many people that get out of jail and are not able to get a job a house and sometimes not even a family. This matters because everything they are saying is affecting the new generation because kids are doing bad this because they think is cool. I can apply this message to my life by thinking about my future and the people around me.

Based on my understanding this means we make our own choices. For example we decide what we want to do , who we want to be , and who are friends will be. We decide our own future with the choices we make. we are smart enough to chose , we know the bad and the good. In the video it explains that with the choices we make , is how our life will be. If you don’t make an effort on your choices , on your education , your life will be how you want it to be. This matters because many people end up in jail , dead , and working in fast food places for making bad choices. If you work hard , and set a goal in YOUR life and make good choices you’ll have a good life. I can apply this to my life in a way where I made bad choices and went through bad things. Now it’s just a lesson learned and now I can make good choices.
Based upon my understanding, this means Michael Vick regrets what he did to those dogs. He wish he could take everything back and that he feels that what he did was very cruel and unfair to the animals. Based upon my understanding, the video is about incarceration in America and about how people who have been to jail don’t have a second chance when they’re released. Since they were convicted managers at jobs don’t want to hire them. If they can’t get a job the convicts end up homeless and eventually committing suicide. I can apply this quote to my life by focusing in school because if I get convicted at any age I won’t have a second chance at life. I won’t be able to get a job or I might die in prison.That’s not the life I want to live.

You will reach it achieving time. Your time can also be goals. Goals is what you have been trying to approach, time is what you should try to approach. Time is the key to life.
